Introduction

I am a seasoned finance and technical professional with over twenty-five years of experience in the health care arena working with physicians, clinics, hospitals and a health plan. In my last position as Director of Financial Systems and Corporate Analysis I successfully bridged the gap between the finance and IT departments to implement efficient and accurate processes complete with end-user training and documentation. I also designed and built reports to meet the needs of business units to maximize managerial effectiveness.

• Interfaces between GL and patient billing: worked with management to understand desired outcomes, wrote the technical specifications, coordinated with IT on the development, designed testing plans, directed testing and turned final interfaces over to GL with end user documentation and training
• Financial and operational reports produced from a SQL database for department administrators as well as finance department staff to assist in their journal entries
• Process for reconciling patient billing receipts to the bank and automated bank statement to GL reconciliation
